UNITN has a long-standing history of scientific excellence and ranked 36th in “The European Teaching Ranking 2018” (1st among Italian Universities), 440th in the QS World University Rankings 2022 (10th among Italian Universities), and in the 34% of the top universities worldwide. More recently, UNITN confirmed its 1st rank among medium-sized Italian universities for the quality of teaching activities.
UNITN participates in 6thSense through its Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI), which has been recently awarded excellent funding from the Italian government to develop and expand research and teaching laboratories, and involves faculty with great expertise in communications and networking, signal processing, electronics, robotics, ML, and AI.
