Arash Asadi
TU Delft

I am an Assistant Professor in the Embedded Systems Group at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), where I lead the Wireless Communication and Sensing Lab (WISE). My research focuses on the intersection of wireless communication and sensing, particularly in the context of 6G networks. I am interested in developing practical solutions for future wireless systems by leveraging mathematical tools and machine learning techniques.

Throughout my career, I have been recognized with several awards, including the Educational Fellowship from TU Delft, the Athena Young Investigator Award from TU Darmstadt, and outstanding Ph.D. and Master’s thesis awards from UC3M. My work has been featured in top-tier journals and conferences, with some of my papers appearing in IEEE ComSoc Tech Focus and IEEE ComSoc Best Reading Topics.

At TU Delft, I am actively involved in teaching and mentoring students. I offer courses such as Computer Organization (CSE1400) and supervise Bachelor’s and Master’s theses on topics related to wireless communication and sensing. I also serve as the scientific coordinator of the EU-funded MSCA Doctoral Network 6thSense, which focuses on joint communication and sensing in 6G networks.

Prior to joining TU Delft, I held positions at TU Darmstadt and the IMDEA Networks Institute. I earned my Ph.D. in Telematic Engineering from the University Carlos III of Madrid.
