Chengwei Huang is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Networked Systems group at Delft University of Technology. His research, conducted as part of the 6th Sense Project, focuses on autonomous robotic navigation using visible light communication (VLC). He is also working on developing sustainable drone systems by integrating solar energy, aiming to create fully autonomous, energy-efficient robotic platforms capable of performing tasks in diverse scenarios.

Chengwei earned his Master’s degree in Computer-Aided Engineering from National Taiwan University, where he specialized in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology and autonomous navigation systems with multi-sensor integration. His expertise extends to machine learning algorithms, which he applies to robotic systems to improve the performance and reliability of autonomous technologies.

Driven by a passion for cutting-edge innovation, Chengwei is dedicated to advancing robotics by combining artificial intelligence, sensing technologies, and drone platforms to push the boundaries of networked communication and autonomous robotics.
