Hussein is a doctoral researcher at BOSCH under the joint supervision of Katholieke Universiteit Leuven’s Department of Electrical Engineering. Within the 6th Sense Project, his research develops adaptive, context-aware algorithms for multimodal sensor fusion in 6G Joint Communication and Sensing (JCAS) systems. The goal is to enhance robustness and awareness through resource-efficient designs.

Hussein earned the Dipl.-Ing. degree in Electrical-Electronics Engineering from the Lebanese University and the M.Sc. in Communications Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, cum laude. Before pursuing his Ph.D., he implemented a containerized satellite network emulator and advanced an automotive radar system by integrating communication capabilities, enabling JCAS.

Besides JCAS technologies, his interests include digital signal processing, advanced wireless systems, and AI for next-generation wireless standards.
