Junjie is a PhD candidate at the Mobile Adaptive and pervasive NeTwork communicAtions (MANTA) research laboratory at the University of Trento, as part of the 6thSense project. His research focuses on object detection algorithms in joint communication and sensing (JCAS), with an emphasis on developing intelligent sensing signal allocation strategies and providing adaptive, near-optimal solutions for highly dynamic scenarios.

Junjie completed his Master’s degree in Communication and Information Engineering at Beihang University, specializing in queue delay analysis and channel modeling. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in the same field from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Before his PhD, he gained industry experience as a telecommunication engineer specializing in IoT Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN).

Junjie is passionate about integrating sensing and communication in next-generation wireless systems and contributing to cutting-edge research in the field.
