Shun Zhuge is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Embedded Systems group at the Delft University of Technology. As part of the 6thSense project, his research focuses on developing lightweight Joint Communication and Sensing (JCAS) solutions for embedded devices. This includes designing self-optimizing algorithms that dynamically manage computational and communication resources, and developing compressed models that incur negligible performance loss.
He completed his Master’s degree in Communications Engineering at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, where he specialized in target localization for integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) systems. He also holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Electronic and Communication Systems from the Australian National University in Australia.
Shun is passionate about next-generation wireless communication, particularly at the intersection of JCAS and Tiny Machine Learning (Tiny-ML).
